Climbing down from the frozen ice capped mountain of which I imagine he resides, everyone’s favourite Norwegian black metaller is back with his troupe of fellow demons to offer up the second single to be taken from their upcoming release ‘Outstrider’.
Premiering on Kerrang, ‘Outstrider’ was recorded at Dub Studios in Kristiansand, Norway with producer Endre Kirkesola of Blood Red Throne and In Vain fame. Accompanying Abbath on his assault is drummer Ukri Suvilehto, bassist Mai Wallace, and guitarist Ole André Farstad.
Due for release on the 5th of July, Abbath plan to inject our summer with an icy wind consisting of seven track of black metal excellence which will also include a faithful Bathory cover.
