Bursting onto the scene with more savagery than a gaggle of teenage girls taking down a supply teacher, the newest recruits from Prosthetic Records are not fucking around with their new single ‘No Peace’. Taken from their debut full length album entitled ‘Confidimus in Morte’, with ‘No Peace’ The Machinist offer a sneak peek into what to expect with the album’s release on the 12th of April.
Released in celebration of their recent signing to Prosthetic Records as well in preparation for their upcoming album release, the visualization to ‘No Peace’ is the perfect reflection of the auditory experience. Directed by Anthony Simone with former Face Off contestant Kelly Harris providing the special effects, the video for ‘No Peace’ puts the viewer in the position of someone that just come back to consciousness with their hands and feet bound with rope. Awaking dazed and confused, it doesn’t take long for the unnamed man to realize how dire his situation is. Set to befall profound and drawn out emotional and physical torture, ‘No Peace’ is both a clever and visceral take on the snuff genre and an exhilarating introduction to the Prosthetic newcomers.
In speaking of their new single as well as their recent signing to Prosthetic Records, the band have commented that, ‘’No peace’ is a song that we truly believe embodies what The Machinist is all about. It was written shortly after our first EP and we had a lot of time to sit on it. We knew right then, this was the direction we wanted to strive for on this record. We’re very excited to be apart of the Prosthetic Records family and to show the world what we have in store!’
Be sure to check out the video and bath in the horrific glory of The Machinist’s first outing with Prosthetic Records whilst you wait for the 12th of April release date.
