Returning from the fields of battle with victory in toe, modern heavy metallers Visigoth come to worship at the alters of metal with the release of their new visualisation for ‘Traitors Gate’.

Holding true to the tenets of traditional heavy metal with a singular focus on writing music inspired by their favorite records from The New Wave of British Heavy Metal and American Power Metal, whether meditating on traditional metal rhythms or sweeping melodies as provided by face melting solos, Visigoth is a band that proudly wears their influences on their sleeves.

Awaking a great hunger for iron-forged pure metal magic that only Visigoth themselves can satiate, the band's 2015 release entitled ‘The Revenant King’ raised their standard for the old ways with an album full to the metal studded brim with long melodious odes to swords, battle and honor. Earning the band a strong gathering of loyal barbarians, the band proceeded to take their message worldwide with impassioned live shows and electric permeances at Keep It True festival and Frost & fire festival before returning once more to the studio to bring us their highly anticipated follow-up.

Proving that traditional metal is here to stay and lives on in the hearts of the true, Visigoth’s impassioned 2018 sophomore album ‘Conqueror’s Oath’, cemented their claim on the immortal throne of metal. Filled with feats of strength and tales of heroism, Visigoths second crusade carries the magic of their first album into the second yet with improved songwriting and more memorable refrains.

In celebration of how well ‘Conqueror’s Oath’ was received, the band have unveiled a new visualization directed and edited by Oliver ‘Bomber’ Barth of Visions In Fear for the fan favorite ‘Traitors Gate’. Footage for the video was taken from festival shows at Hell Over Hammaburg, Keep It True and Bang Your Head.
