Confirming the release of their upcoming album entitled ‘Undying Light’ as well as the start of a new era, Fallujah have dropped a new single complete with accompanying music video. After months of guessing whether or not stand-in vocalist Monte Barnard would be officially brought into the bands fold, the unveiling of ‘Undying Light’ also cemented the appointment of Antonio Palermo on vocals following the departure of long-time frontman Alex Hofmann who left the band back in 2017.
Set for release on the 15th of March, ‘Undying Light’ was mixed and mastered by Mark Lewis know for working with the likes of Cannibal Corpse, Whitechapel, The Black Dahlia Murder and Carnifex. Lewis also had a hand in recording the vocals and the drums, whilst the guitars and bass were recording by guitarist Scott Carstairs. The cover art for ‘Undying Light’ was created and produced by Nick Keller.
In speaking about the upcoming album, Fallujah stated that ‘Undying Light’ stands as a monument to creating the purest and most visceral version of the band. Continuing that band stated that, ‘Through the blood, sweat and tears left on these 10 tracks, we usher in a new era for the band. We’d like to introduce you all to the voice of that new era and newest member of FALLUJAH, Antonio Palermo.’
Accompanying the new single is a visually intense reflection that was directed by Robert Graves known for videos by The Black Dahlia Murder and Abysmal Dawn. You can catch the video below.
In a separate post the band gave one last message to the fans, ‘Thank you all for the love and support. So much more to come. We cherish our fans more than you can possibly know, and are excited to bring you all with us into the future. This is Fallujah, and this is all for you.’
